In Hawaii, old muumus never die. They just go to Kaneohe on the Windward side of Oahu.! Muumuu Heaven is a mother-daughter team on the Windward side that collects and buys old
muumuus and muumuu print fabric and turns these cast-offs into modern-yet-retro,
eco-conscious clothing, throw pillows and other fashionable tidbits.

Their flagship products are muumuu print skirts
that are updated with a folksy, hipster look cool enough to attract
the bi-coastal crowd but not so hip as to scare off laid-back locals.
The company also makes throw-pillows out of vintage aloha print shirts
and muumuus. Each piece is one of a kind and hand-made. We like it because, well, the old muumuu's look a heck of a lot better after they're done with them than they did before as an ugly print dress.
