The Honolulu Star-Bulletin is reporting that hotel workers in Honolulu just OKd a strike. This woudl happen only if the contentious contract negotiations going on right now grind to a halt and workers decide to walk off. I'd say a strike is unlikely but with the summer high season over the hotels might be more willing to endure a strike now as opposed to in December or January. Here are some of hotels that could be impacted.

* Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa
* Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa
* Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa
* All Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki.

In any case, we'll be posting a list of non-union hotels that will not be impacted by any strike later today or tomorrow. We'll also let you know as soon as more information comes to light.
