Diving with dolphins in Hawaii is quite amazing. It is illegal to follow them or touch them. For the most part, they choose to be with you. You can choose to be in a place they frequent but after that its really their decision. Up close, they are so much more powerful and so much less cuddly than pictures imply. On Oahu, people often go to Makua Beach on the Leeward Coast to swim with dolphins. On the Big Island, Spinners are very common in Kealakakaua Bay.
