Cruising Costco Hawaii Kai the other day I spotted a nifty gift card bonusorama from Sam Choy's Diamond Head. Cough up $80 at Costco and get two $50 giftcards good for all meals at Sam's! I personally am a big fan of his poke and his ahi appetizers (check out his seared ahi sashimi with ginger cilantro pesto or his wacky wasabi cheesecake, with ahi tartare and wasabi soy lime vinaigrette). Some folks don't like him for his use of liquid smoke but I have always thought his fish and his Hawaiian stuff was right on. I also like the chef at that restaurant, Aaron Fukuda. (For visitors, this is within easy striking distance of Waikiki.)
