A funny thing about living in the Internet Age -- because I was a food critic when I was living in New York City and keep up on restaurants, friends from the Big Apple still ask me for restaurant recs even though I've been back in the islands for five years now. Searching through some blog stats, I found Hapa Hale, a very cool blog by a fashionista / design conscious lady living on the West Coast but with a serious Hawaii jones. She's from here, of course, but living there still manages to do a better job of keeping up on Hawaii design and fashion trends than most people I know in Hawaii. Check it out -- a great read!
