Big Island Earthquake Update: Part 3

Here's a tenative list of damaged hotels. Some may prove to be very minor but definitely check before you check in. One other consideration. One of the two hospitals in West Hawaii has suffered some fairly serious damage. I'll keep updating this list as the day goes one. I've also called in to the Hawaii Visitor & Convention Bureau to get a report. They directed me to their spinmeisters, McNeil Wilson Commuincations. Which, surprisingly, does not have a list on-hand for journalists of which resorts are damaged. Not exactly the right way to do crisis management. Hopefully they'll get back to me with one soon.

Damaged

Four Seasons Hualalai
Mauna Kea Beach Hotel
Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows
ResortQuest Kona by the Sea
King Kamehameha Hotel

No Damage

Hilton Waikola Village
Royal Kona Resort (some question, may actually be damaged, updating ASAP)

I have been attempting to determine the extent of the Kona by the Sea damage from the quake. I can not find an official source for information and calling the hotel brings glib comments. I have had no response from ResortQuest, and so I am left in the dark as to just how bad the water damage is and if there are other structural problems??

Any updated info or advice on who I can contact to find out now that some time has passed??
