After all the earthquake blogging I did yesterday, its time for a nice cool glass of something. This one you can only get at Brown's Beach House, an oceanfront boite in the Fairmont Orchid Hotel along with gently swaying hula dancers and stunning Kohala Coast sunsets. My understanding is the bar is open and they are serving. Enjoy!

Orchid Mango Madness

• 1 1/4 oz Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum


• 2 oz. Mango Puree


• Li Hing Mui Powder (candied plum powder) *

Use a lime wedge to wet glass rim, dip rim in Li Hing Mui (dried plum) powder. Blend rum and puree with ice. Pour in glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
