The Honolulu Weekly published its annual (first?) Bar Guide for Oahu a week ago. Now you can view it online (which is a good thing because its always there and because the nifty graphics in the print version were illegibly smudged). These listings are heavily weighted towards dive bars, so keep that in mind. That's said, some nice finds and info I was not aware of, particularly, the Bloody Marys at the Cabanas Pool Bar at the Ohana Waikiki West and the local kine entertainment at Aku Bone (I'd always heard blasting karaoke but never live tunes). And particularly pay attention if your short cashola as this guide is very heavy on the cheap booze. Enjoy.
