As a Hawaii resident, I’ve had the opportunity to sample my fair share of guava syrups and the best that I’ve come across so far is from Island Plantations, a locally-owned and operated gourmet food company. Sweet with just the right amount of fruity tanginess, this syrup goes perfectly with waffles, pancakes, and even ice cream. Island Plantations also makes a superb coconut syrup, which would add a little something special to breakfast foods and cocktails alike.
