Anyone who’s been stuck at home on a rainy day with an antsy toddler knows what a wonderful, climate-controlled, family-friendly oasis Kahala Mall is. In lieu of the shopping center’s usual Toddler Time activities, there’s a whole slate of children’s holiday events that begin the day after Thanksgiving. On Friday, November 24 at 11 AM, keiki can look forward to Santa’s arrival (accompanied by the talented dancers of Ka Hale I o Kahala Halau Hula) at the mall’s center court. They can then get their photos taken with the big man himself at Santa’s Candyland, in front of the Aveda kiosk (through December 24). And just to make sure that he gets their Christmas wishes straight, children can mail a note to Santa via a drop box strategically located between KB Toys and Thinker Toys (through December 15). There are plenty of special events scheduled for grown-ups as well, which can be viewed here.
