Aloha Airlines flights will soon be the only place in the country you can drink Maui's own Ocean Vodka (caution -- very loud Flash trailer) besides the Hawaiian Islands. First Class bar carts on Aloha will start carrying the clear, fine libation sometime after Xmas. Always stoked to see local companies, particularly those making quality stuffs, get visible play. And my wish for next year -- a Hawaii-made top-shelf sipping rum?

Haleakala Sunrise Martini

• 1 ½ parts OCEAN Vodka


• 2 parts fresh mango juice or strained puree


• Squeeze of lime


• Shake and pour over a splash of cranberry juice
