New Years Tiporama: House Without a Key Staying Open Late

House%20Without%20a%20Key.JPGOne of our favorite haunts has always been the House Without a Key, the patio bar at the Halekulani where the lovely Kanoe Miller has swayed her hips for thousands of appreciative Mai TaI-quaffing visitors. One of my biggest gripes about the place was that it shut down at 9 pm (I assume in defernce to hotel guests, as the venue is outside and some people like to sleep with their lanai doors open to allow in the sounds of the ocean). At any rate, I happened to call to see what the deal was on New Years and it turns out they are open late past midnight to soak up the fireworks. To sum up. Free validated parking. Stiff Mai Tais. Lovely hula hands. An evening under the stars and the fireworks. Don't miss it.
