Maui Triple Play: Kayak, Snorkel, Waterfall Trek -- In A Single Day

I've hoofed it over the years a few times with Ken Schmitt's Hike Maui team and they are extremely professional and fun to hang out with. For the most part I've only hiked. That said, I find the idea of Hike Maui's triple play extremely appealing. Why? Hiking all day isn't for everyone -- it can be kinda boring (even in Hawaii) and its certainly exhausting (return trips are murder - call the chopper!). Kayaking all day is likewise exhaustin -- too much sun, total dehydration, need a nap. Snorkeling, well -- it's extremely cool but I get chilly after an hour.
Taken in small doses, the trio is a perfect day trip. Hike Maui completes this trifecta by starting in the water with a kayak and a snorkel segment along the rugged coast of West Maui (which has some of the clearest water on the island and insane vistas, to boot) and finishes in the water -- after a short waterfall hike to a secluded pool. The total trip runs 6.5 hours and its a full day even though its full of different stuff. Overall, too, this is a newbie friendly outing with nothing to hairy scary.
