On the heels of the last post, I'd thought I'd bring in another post on the topic. While La Ronde is long gone, the Top of Waikiki is still spinning, quite literally. Atop the Waikiki Business Plaza, the Top of Waikiki has a talented young chef named Sean Priester who is still hit or miss but turns out some great stuff. The views are, of course, quite stunning. This remains something of a local secret as I haven't seen any national pubs of note report on the topic. If you are very motion sensitive, then stay away but the restaurant turns at a stately pace.

Thanks, correction made. Don’t know why I thought it was in the Ambassador. However, there is located on the ground floor a restaurant — Keo’s, a well known Thai place that I’ve eaten at.
