Wellness%20Pool%20Hotel%20Hana%20Maui.jpgWhile most of the readers of Hawaiirama have families, some people want to go on kid-free vacations. Thus, the presence and popularity of resorts in the Caribbean where children are banned. Hawaii does not have any truly child-free resorts. But the Hotel Hana-Maui, in a smart play to the couples and child-phobic romance market, has declared adults only periods spanning May 1-24 and September 1-30 in 2007. the Hotel Hana-Maui, just to refresh your memory, sits in idyllic, secluded Hana and is the only resort around for miles and miles in this tiny town along Maui's Windward shore. It sits next to Hamoa Bay, one of Hawaii's most beautiful crescent bays. Of course, the chances of families traveling in those time periods -- the last few and first few weeks of school -- are practically nil. I don't think there are any other comparable adults only offers in Hawaii but if they are, feel free to tell me about them.
