Fellow blogger Ian Lind is the only person I've seen willing to write about Don Ho's alleged close ties to a number of Mainland and Hawaii organized crime figures.
If he walks like Sinatra and acts like Sinatra, etc. My impression was these ties were significantly diminished as Don got older. In any case, an interesting read and an interesting omission by all the local media and the national guys.
