Want to stay in Wailea? Prepare to pay. The big, luxe hotels charge $400 per night and up. There are a number of condo options in Wailea, though. The Wailea Ekahi Village is one of the better ones (this offer for a one-bdm via Travel Zoo). Oceanfront pool (much less crowded than hotel), free parking ($15-20 per day at hotel), working kitchen (great for families, budget travelers). The condos are generally in good shape. All are an easy walk to several phenomenal Wailea beaches. Deal is good through November 15, 2007 and requires a five-night minimum stay. Condo easily sleeps four. Caveat condo -- these are not hotels so each unit is different in terms of decor and wear and tear.
