So I'm lagging -- this Kayak Buzz Alert is about a week old. But airfare from New York City to Hawaii rarely dips below $600. Here it looks like fares are going to be pretty reasonable for quite a stretch. With hotel capacity continuing to free up -- except on Maui -- this is a good time to leave Gotham for that great Hawaii vacation. Best flight, of course, is the Continental non-stop to Honolulu if you are going to Honolulu. If not, catch a non-stop to Maui, Kauai or Big Island from any of a number of West Coast airport.
