This is a really killer event that features some of small restaurant chefs from around Oahu (Downtown, 12 Ave. Grill, India Cafe, Mi Casa) but turns out dynamite food and for a good cause, Slow Food Oahu. The local alt weekly puts the event together. The venue, the Hawaii State Arts Museum, is genteel and pleasant. Quaffables from Kona Brewing and Wailua Soda. If you happen to be on Oahu, def check it out. Tix are $55 per person.
