I have not really been loving the travel deals for Hawaii posted on Travel Zoo of late. They've been pretty much same old, second-tier properties, or, worse, not really great deals. Here's an example. Pay $148 per night for a studio condo at the ResortQuest Papakea Resort with a garden view in what is, essentially, Honokowai, a condo area that does not have the great beach like Kaanapali. This resort itself is probably perfectly nice but for that amount of money or a little more in hump season you can probably get an oceanfront condo up the coast in Napili on a beautiful little bay. The Napili Kai is pricier but there are other, similar options.
