The folks over at the Weekly brought out there second annual Bar Guide with a tongue-in-cheek take on all sorts of local libational information. Includes bouncer profiles, a nice rundown of off-the-beaten-path happy hours, and a paid-for directory. All in all, its somewhat thin considering the myriad drinking options around Honolulu but the editorial turnover at the Weekly is probably hindering their ability to, um, drink their own Kool-Aid. Numerous typos on the Web version are a bad sign as well. But heed the recommendations, which are likely from the mind of Kawehi Haug, a savvy local bar hopper.
