James over at Big Island Grinds gives props to Mehana Brewing's new growler deal. It's a dinger. Pay $6 for a half-gallon of brewski made right there in historic Hilo. Have tried Mehana. Like it a lot. For beerhounds bopping around the Big Island, this could be a nice picnic brew. Just make sure to take a nap afterwards if you are driving. Or better yet, sleep it off at the Shipman House.
