This is a dive I've always wanted to do. It's a serious haul to Niihau from the Kauai. This is the "Forbidden Island," a semi-desolate redoubt off the West Coast of the Garden Isle owned by the reclusive Robinson Family and home to some of the last pure-blooded Hawaiians in the islands. The waters are pristine, clear and teeming. The ride can be rough and its a full-day trip so make it a two or three tanker, please! I don't know the company he mentions here but there aren't many that make this trip with regularity. Caveat -- not for people who get wigged out by little men in gray suits.
