My name is Bruce Fisher, I am a Hawaii based Travel Agent and the founder of Hawaii-Aloha.com. So why am I posting here? Millions of visitors come to these islands every year without ever speaking to a real person who lives in Hawaii before they arrive. This is for a vacation that will likely cost several thousand dollars, at a minimum. It's amazing to me that people don't do more research before spending that kind of money. I run a travel agency, Hawaii-Aloha.Com. based on the premise that everyone wishing to visit the islands should talk to someone living and working in the islands.

So blogging here is -- let's face it -- to promote my expertise and underscore why visitors should work with a local travel agent like me. And since booking travel is rapidly becoming a commodity business, this helps me show why you would need a travel agent. While I have been blogging and podcasting for a few years now, this blog will allow me to focus on a single topic; Hotels in Hawaii. Starting next week (after I get back from Mexcio, I leave today). I will be giving my unbiased critique and analysis of hotels here in Hawaii. I have seen just about every hotel here as part of my job, and I also work with 17 other local travel agents, so what I don't know someone here does. I visit hotels on a regular basis, far more than any travel writer in mainstream media. And I am not afraid to tell you exactly what I think and give you the honest scoop on hotels.
