Thinking of buying a second home on Oahu or moving to the island? Might want to check this site first, courtesy of scientists at University of Hawaii. Beachfront is getting a whole lot cheaper -- if you're time horizon is 50 years or so. Note - much of Waikiki goes underwater even at 1 meter sea level rise from current levels. Now, if you're on the 20th floor, you're fine but wear your hip boots to get through the lobby and kiss that underground parking spot goodbye -- assuming the buildings foundation isn't trashed. Gulp.
