Honolulu Magazine's current issue has a nifty quicky tour of five local secrets in Kaneohe. Nice piece, folks. I'd also include Pake's Restaurant, a totally off the radar Chinese joint that is a fave of local chefs, and The Catwalk, a consignment shop that is probably the best place on the island to get authentic (as opposed to counterfeit -- a lot of that going on now) Ming's jewelery, classic Chinese and island themed bangles and earrings that look good on grandma and girls going to the high school prom, alike.
