I'm back with another Microsoft Mobile post, coming at you from Fort DeRussy in Waikiki. When you see the Microsoft Mobile logo, you know I'm posting on the go. I am actually posting from a coffee shop right next to the museum. This is site of the Hawaii Army Musuem, an extremely cool, pretty much unsung exhibit tucked into Waikiki right next to a nice beach. Some excellent black and white images of Hawaii and the military (a charged relationship, for sure ) including really cool aviation images. There is some wonderful WW II art and awesome historic images of Hawaii during the Second World War. Not a must stop but a very nice sidelight for respite from the noontime sun. Kids (and grownup kids) will love the neato tanks on display (as in, lifesize) outside the building. Kaboom!
