More Hawaii Travel Hell -- Another Airline on the Rocks?: No go!?

First Aloha Airlines goes belly up, leaving travelers in a lurch and decimating the interisland market. Now it looks as if go!, the upstart that shut down Aloha with low, low fares and a nasty fare war, could be circling the drain. It's parent company, Mesa Air Group, is in real trouble after losing key contracts with larger airlines. It's stock price has fallen below $1 per share and analysts are telling investors to dump the stock. Airline industry watchers are saying Mesa is next on the carrier death watch. Which would leave Hawaii with one major and a handful of minor interisland carriers, a stunning turn of events. Do you think the $39 o/w interisland fair is going away? Apparently, to boot, go! is flying extremely inefficient planes, something that puts them at a disadvantage with gas prices soaring. If they go down, travelers, grab your credit cards!

Oh please … no more closing of airlines. I still can’t get over the fact that Aloha Airlines shut down.
