The latest issue of Honolulu Magazine is out and its a good one. The editors cover 18 fun outdoor adventures (mainly on Oahu but some Outer Island) including a couple I had never even heard of, such as rock climbing (did not know there were climbable rocks here -- thought they all crumbled). John Heckathorn also ventures to the North Shore to review 21 Degrees (the signature restaurant at Turtle Bay Resort) and Ola, the beachfront, more casual eatery there run by Fred D'Angelo. I am always suspicious of 21 Degrees because chefs seem to rotate out of there so quickly but the setting is amazing, right on top of the breaking waves. Got a favorite Hawaii adventure tour?
