Not too sure what people are talking about when they say there's no nightlife in Honolulu. Considering the source, there's obviously a discrepancy. The island is buzzing! Art! Culture! Food! New places! New things!

Starting with an amazing night of art. No this isn't New York! This is in that big orange building on Kapiolani and Piikoi.

Love it or hate it, we also get Bodies: The Exhibition. A global phenomenon/controversy and now it's right here in Honolulu.

We have amazing live art. Not just live painting, but live nude portraits. This is at Indulge. The new Thursday at Bar35.

Art After Dark is still overflowing with people, and they have an epic schedule for the rest of 2008.

Even the "underground" art movement is at maximum capacity.

Waikiki even gets the crowds. Especially if a store like BeBe has a fancy opening party and says it "Loves Hawaii".

Rock shows are great

Underground Hip Hop shows are great.
