I posted a video of the pool at the Grand Wailea a bit back and it is the reigning champion of Hawaii hotel pools. The Hyatt runs a close second. It's more sprawling and more jungle like, with three levels of shallow, meandering waterways and grottoes modeled after some sort of Byzantine lagoon. It's been spiffed up with new slides and what not. I spent most of an afternoon wandering around this pool, and, natch, you can sidle up to a bar for Mai Tai with exiting the agua. Kids love this pool, too, because you can easily ditch mom and dad, play pirate, etc. Downside -- it isn't as vertical as great waterslide parks. But looking out at the Pacific through the palm trees more than makes up for it.
