Sales of single family homes on Kauai for June 2008 are well down from comp numbers in 2007. Sales prices managed to skitter upwards. I'd say that won't last long. Bargain hunters, book your Hawaii tickets. We're heading for a rough landing. A lot of new Kauai condos and timeshares are coming onto the market, too, so it might be a good time to look into that Hawaii vacation rental you always dreamed about -- if you can scrape together the cash for a loan. Hawaii, ho!
