Best Dives in Hawaii: Lanai Cathedrals

Hawaii has a lot of coral but its not as bright and showy as what you might find in Belize or Australia. However, it has plenty of large, visible marine animals and some spectacular formations with coral growing around lava rocks or just plain lava. Lanai Cathedrals are perhaps the most interesting and diverse formations of this type in Hawaii. This is a great video giving you a taste of what its like. The depth of this dive is 45-60 feet and visibility is usually 100 feet or so in these waters.
