This Hawaii beach is on the most populous island, Oahu, a stones toss from urban Honolulu. Located on the Windward Side of Oahu near Kailua (where Barack Obama is supposedly vacationing right now) is considered crowded by some locals here, including us on a bad day. Which is hysterical in comparison to many truly crowded beaches in other places of the world where you are literally walking over people to find a spot.. The sand at Bellows relatively soft and nicely yellow, the water warm and blue and the backdrop of the green Ko'olau Mountains impeccable. Too bad you aren't here in Hawaii -- unless you're chasing that Obama fellow. Oh, its called Bellows Beach. Next time you're in Hawaii, tell them Barry sent you. Or not. Still shivering? :)
