Kimchi Fried Rice: BaLe Wailuku Just Nails It
You think of really, old-time local places for the best fried rice – places that have been around for a long, long time. The kim chee fried rice is new to the Ba-Le menu. It has just the right amount of heat. Of course, you can add hot sauce which I do to one side of my plate. Just the right texture and it’s a big portion. For me, enough for lunch and for a side for dinner or for breakfast the next day when all the flavors have mixed together even more beautifully you can add shrimp, chicken, spam or char siu. Today, I added char siu, ’cause it was just a char siu kind of day.
