Mix one of the best restaurant views in all of Hawaii with top-notch cooking by Chef Ryan Luckey and you get Pineapple Grill, now an institution tucked away on one of the two golf course on the Kapalua Resort. Luckey makes no bones about going full-bore local with loads of local seafood and produce. Don’t miss anything he makes with ahi. His appetizers, as is true in many Hawaii restaurants, shine and lots of locals opt to only do this joint pupu style with lots of small plates to pass around family style. At night the restaurant gets fairly lively with Hawaiian music. Best time to book? Sunset, of course. You can’t always catch the sun going down depending on the time of year but the sky and the view of the ocean an Molokai is absolutely insane.
