At 3200 square feet, it’s not really a cottage. But the Spouting Horn Cottage on prime oceanfront in Poipu feels pretty cozy just the same. Each of the three  master suites has an blue Kauai ocean view of to die for. Cottage decor is retro classic Hawaii, with canoe paddles on the walls, dark wood furniture, four-poster beds, and other nice touches. You’re steps to the water, an easy walk or paddle to surfing or lounging on Poipu Beach, and in the middle of the one of the richest lolling grounds of indigenous Hawaiian green sea turtles. A fourth bathroom makes entertaining guest all that much easier. And then there’s the lanai, pictured here. Entirely possible you wouldn’t need to do anything else other than sit there and take it all in to have a perfect Kauai vacation. It’s a tough life, eh?
